The paint has a 40 year film integrity warranty, and all colors are energy star rated. The cool chemistry isa highly reflective coating that uses inorganic ceramic pigments to reflect and dissipate the heat on the metal itself. This Cool technology is proven to reduce direct sun temperature of up to or over 30 degrees on the metal, compared to non-energy star paints. This next generation of Cool Chemistry silicone polyester holds up to even the harshest of Florida Sun and humidity backed by a 30 year chalk and fade warranty.
The Steel is 26 a gauge which has the Class 4 Impact rating which the best possible rating. Even 24 gauge metal has the same rating. Our entireline of metal roofing coil is coated by a process called Galvalume. This process has been replacing the galvanized market for the last 50 years and now has market share over the galvanized market for metal roofing. The raw edge protection or cut edge that is not protected by paint is by hands down best with galvalume. We have seen real homes that are over 20 years old that does not have any paint peeling due to the raw edge self-healing properties of Galvalume. The coating is made with Zinc and aluminum, whereas Galvanized is only made with a Zinc coating.
The Grade of the steel is grade 50, which means that it is able to bend properly for a double lock standing seam roof profile, or any other standing seam profile you might need to run. Grade 50 allows the flexibility for the metal to be bent over at 180 degrees several times without it compromising the integrity of the metal.
The coil thickness that we offer currently is 20” wide coils. This makes any number of profiles widths depending on your seam and type of profile. Please check with you panel machine to see what the finish seam to seam measurement would be.
